Karla Muller is a Stellenbosch graduate who developed her skills in project management, ensuring projects are completed efficiently from concept to completion. She is the founder of Selective Fans and The Trendy House, both online eCommerce stores, offering high-end ceiling fans and homeware items to homeowners, home makers, interior designers and architects. 

Expanding her horizons, Karla now extends her project management capability globally as a consultant. 

Her methodology integrates her academic background, acquired skills, and deep industry knowledge to facilitate problem-solving, budget development, and operational optimization for businesses.

Not only is Karla good at looking at the gaps, but she is also a pro at being organized and managing diaries to maximize output over time. She likes to work by the moto by Simon Sinek – There is a difference between giving directions and giving direction. 

Here are 5 fun facts about me: 

1. I’m Cape Town born and bred, the furthest I have moved is to Stellies where I went to University.
2. I love Christmas movies – I have been dreaming of a white Christmas for ages and can’t wait to take my daughters (when they are old enough) to have a European Christmas – hoping it’s just like the movies.
3. I love trying new restaurants and different types of wine. I consider myself a connoisseur and can’t be fooled into thinking a cab sav is a merlot. I also have a massive sweet tooth — give me a bag of chuckles any day.
4. I love pets and animals and when I was small – all I wanted was to rescue all the animals from the SPCA. Currently only have 2 cats, I’m not sure I have capacity to train a pup just yet.
5. My ultimate pet peeve is hearing people chew – I can’t stand it, it really grinds my gears.
